Mrs. Auréa Martel (nee Tremblay)

January 17, 1924 – February 22, 2021

Passed away peacefully at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Monday February 22nd, 2021 at the age of 97. She was the daughter of the late Louis and late Diana Tremblay (nee Matte).

She will be deeply missed by her daughters Elise (Richard) Redman and Suzanne (Bob) Beck, her grandchildren Stephen, William and Jo-Hannah (Paul Hewitt), her great-grandchildren Lexie (Braden), Marissa, Zachary, Nicholas, Connor, Riley and her great-great-granddaughter Tessa, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by Jean-Paul Martel (2013) and her sister Eliane Berthiaume (2010)

Mom loved her family, all animals, enjoyed gardening, cooking, her T.V. and reading.

A special thank you to Dr. Ross, the staff at the Villa Minto & the Lady Minto Hospital for all their devotion and excellent care.

As per Auréa's wishes, there will be a private family gathering at a later date.
