Mrs. Caroline Higgs (nee Groulx)

October 29, 1936 – April 29, 2021

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls on Thursday April 29th, 2021 at the age of 84. She was the wife of the late John Higgs (2015). She leaves behind her children Steven Higgs, Linda Linklater (Lorne), Dennis Higgs (Linda), CarolAnn O'Grady (Gerry), daughter-in-law Nancy Higgs, grandchildren Jesse (Sharon), Jennifer (Craig), Robert (Ruthann), Kelly (Mike), Scott (late Katharine), Stephanie, Jeffery, Kyle, Nicholas and Kelsey. She was the sister of Emile (Réjeanne) Groulx, late Real (Sharon) Groulx, late Robert (late Mary) Groulx, Russell Groulx, Jane (Helmut) Gliese, Denise (the late Vince) Kelly and Jeannine Groulx (Raymond Laporte). She also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Glen Higgs, father Gabriel Groulx and mother Marion Groulx (nee Oullette).

She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery on Tuesday May 4th, 2021 and a Gravesite Service will be held at a later date once Covid-19 restrictions are alleviated.
