With heavy hearts his family announces Devin’s sudden passing in Ottawa on Tuesday September 15th, 2020 at the age of 23. He will be fondly remembered by his mother Jennifer Sackaney, siblings Jessica, Ericka, Delin, Dayton, Patricia and Danica , nephew Devlin, Grandfather Joseph Sackaney, aunts and uncles Lucie Longpeter, Leon Sackaney (Pauline) Alice (Victor) Linklater, Susie Cheechoo (Gary), Claire, Peggy, Judy, Stella, Patricia, Sylvia, Eric Sackaney, Foster Father Andre Ouellette & Family, and 31 1st cousins and 66 2nd cousins and many other relatives. He was predeceased by Foster Mother Debbie Ouellette, grandmother Jean Sackaney, uncle Charles Sackaney, great grandparents John and Mary Longpeter and great grandfather Emile Sackaney

Private visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine funeral home in Cochrane, Ontario followed by the Funeral Mass on Tuesday September 22, 2020 at 12 noon at the Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church in Cochrane. The interment will follow at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery. ***Covid-19 restrictions in place. ***

The maximum of people allowed at the same time in Irvine & Irvine funeral home is 30% of its full capacity at one time, rotation may take place;

The maximum of people allowed in transfiguration Church is 30% of its full capacity;

The wearing of a mask by everyone in the funeral home and church during visitations and funeral is mandatory;

No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;

No food nor beverage services will be provided;

Washrooms will not be accessible;

Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle;
