Normand Gagné

May 2, 1953 – February 25, 2021

With heavy hearts his family announces Norm’s passing surrounded by his family on Thursday February 25th, 2021 at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls at the age of 67. He worked for many years at the Kidd Creek Met Site and to those who knew him, a big Boston Bruins fan. He will be deeply missed by his mother Jeannine Gagné (nee Leblanc), wife Jackie Gagné (nee Provost), daughter Helene Gagné (Dominic Flaminio and his daughter Mylee), (Tristan Longpré) siblings Thérèse Gagné, Roger (Lynn) Gagné and Paul (Brenda) Gagné, nieces and nephew Jacie (Lindsey Deline), Martine and Steven, great-nieces Khloe and Kali. Norm also leaves behind many friends and all his in laws of the Provost family. Norm was predeceased by his father Gérard Gagné in 2011, his father-in-law Albert Provost and mother-in-law Rachel Provost.

Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls on Monday March 1st, 2021 from 1 pm to 4 pm. ***COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE***

Norm will be laid to rest at the Abitibi Cemetery at a later date.

The maximum of people allowed at the same time in Irvine & Irvine funeral home is 30% of its full capacity at one time, rotation may take place;

The wearing of a mask by everyone inside the funeral home is mandatory;

No memorial donations nor Mass will be accepted in person at the funeral home;

No food nor beverage services will be provided;

Washrooms will not be accessible;

Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two meters from people who are not from the same household;

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que sa famille vous annonce le décès de Norm survenu le jeudi 25 février 2021, entouré de l’amour des siens, à l’hôpital Général Anson d’Iroquois Falls, à l’âge de 67 ans.

Il a travaillé pendant plusieurs années à « Kidd Creek Met Site » et ceux qui l’ont connu savait qu’il était un grand fan des Bruins de Boston.

Il laisse dans le deuil sa mère Jeannine Gagné (née Leblanc), son épouse Jackie Gagné (née Provost), sa fille Helene Gagné (Dominic Flaminio et sa fille Mylee), (Tristan Longpré), ses frères et sa sœur Thérèse Gagné, Roger (Lynn) Gagné et Paul (Brenda) Gagné, sa nièce et ses neveux Jacie (Lindsey Deline), Martine et Steven et ses petites-nièces Khloe et Kali. Norm laisse également plusieurs amis et tous ses beaux-frères, belles-sœurs de la famille Provost. Il est allé rejoindre son père Gérard Gagné en 2011, son beau-père Albert Provost et sa belle-mère Rachel Provost.

La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 641 Ave deTroyes, Iroquois Falls le lundi 1er mars 2021 de 13h à 16h. ***LES RESTRICTIONS POUR LE COVID-19 DOIVENT ÊTRE RESPECTÉES***

Norm sera inhumé au cimetière Abitibi d’iroquois Falls ultérieurement.
