I have come to the end of my journey surrounded by my loving family in the comfort of my home on Ermine Road in Matheson on Saturday May 1st, 2021. Now I travel my last weary mile, just forget if you can, that I ever frowned, and remember only the smile. Forget unkind words I have spoken; Remember some good I have done. Forget that I’ve stumbled and blundered and sometimes fell by the way. I leave behind my forever love Diane Irene Cormier, my kids Mandi & Terry, Angèle & Murray, Joey, Stéphanie & Phil, my cherished grandkids who called me Pépé Caleb, Camden, Aislyn, Cole, Bryson, Liam, Kinsley, Alyssa, Landyn and Mia, my pets, Zack, Maggie, Pixie, Fluffy and Oreo, my sisters and brother Simone, Thérèse & Rene, Diane, Émile & Daniel, Joanne & Rick.
Remember I have fought some hard battles and won ere the close of the day. Then forget to grieve for my going, I would not have you sad for a day. But this summer just gather with friends and remember our place, and come in the evening when the sun paints the sky in the west. Stand for a few moments beside me and REMEMBER ONLY MY BEST.
I am now reunited with my dad Léonard, mom Hélène, brother Maurice and sister Claudette who predeceased me.
