Richard “Rick” Nelson

December 30, 1959 - December 7, 2021

It is with great sorrow the family announces his passing at the Lady Minto Hospital surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday December 7th, 2021 at the age of 61. He was the son of the late Theodore and late Joan Nelson (nee Jeffrey) and son-in-law of Eugène and the late Geraldine Contant.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Lucille Nelson (nee Contant), his loving children Diane (Eric) Lamothe, Crystal Nelson (David Trudel) and Sarah (Dale Jr.) Brisson, his dear grandchildren Carolyne and Remi Lamothe, Baja, Arcee and Lancer Brisson. He was the brother of Debbie (Jamie) Morin, Cindy (Pierre) Petitclerc and Dan Nelson (Danielle Baker). He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

A Celebration of his life will be held later in the summer 2022.
