Ron "Pappy” Gold

It is with great sadness his family announces his passing at the South Centennial manor in Iroquois Falls, at the age of 88 on Friday July 1st, 2022.

He was the son of the late Fred Gold and the late Ruby (McDowell). He will be sadly missed by his children Laurie Gold (Graham Ditchfield), David (Linda) Gold, Danny (Kim) Gold, his grandchildren Tia (Chris) Richard, Megan (Steve) Brown, Bethany Gold, Shawn (Lyss) Cavar, Kristen (Jake) Rae and Jenny, his greatgrandchildren Alyssa, Luka, Cassidy, Caleb, Harley, Micah, Lilah, Haylen and Emery. He was the brother of Elva (Bob) Jones, late Melvin (late Ruth) Gold and Marlene.

He loved going up the river and spend time with his family hunting and fishing. He loved music, loved to sing “Old Spinning wheel”. He could say his alphabet backwards.

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
